Education in Malta

Qualifications in Malta are placed on the Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF), which is referenced to the European Qualifications Framework. This makes it easier to understand where a programme sits:

  • Level 5 – undergraduate diplomas and certificates
  • Level 6 – bachelor's degrees
  • Level 7 – postgraduate diplomas and master's degrees, including the MBA

Before you apply, your counsellor will share each programme's level, accreditation details and entry requirements so you can make an informed choice.
